The prestigious Exclusive Design Company began its activities as a lighting store established by Elli and Gila Mugrabi in 1974, on Nahalat Binyamin Street in Tel Aviv. In the 1990s their two sons, Meir and Ilan joined the family business. In recent years, Exclusive has expanded its business activities into the realm of furniture and lighting products design, as well as personally customized furniture. Exclusive continues to run the historic store on Nahalat Binyamin.
Over the course of many years, Exclusive has specialized in lighting design and consulting for apartments and private homes, and later also expanded its business activities by specializing in the area of lighting for projects, for luxury towers and for hospitals.
The company employs professionals and expert consultants in their fields, but remains a family company at heart. The father, Eli, serves as president of the company and mother Gila is engaged in designing and consulting in lighting. The company is headed by the brothers and joint CEOs: Meir Mugrabi heads the company’s lighting department, and Ilan manages the company’s design field.

Exclusive opened the first light laboratory of its kind in Israel at VBO Tel Aviv in 2012. This Light Lab is the world’s seventh branch of Via-Bizzuno and is staffed by exclusive lighting consultants and the world’s leading architectural lighting company, Via Bizzuno. It is designed to assist architects and provide solutions to all lighting problems in their projects, including customization of special products for each project as necessary.
Exclusive offers the latest design lines in Israel, including lighting and furniture designed by Ilan Mograbi. These designs are sold to various Italian companies around the world, but the exclusive marketing rights remain in Israel.
